Review: The Instapray App

Do you find yourself alone in your room and in need of prayers, but are too burdened to ask your closest friends or family? Then, welcome to Instapray, a FREE mobile app available in the App Store and Google Play that connects you to millions of caring and praying people worldwide. It boasts of users from 194 countries and over 58,144, 999 ++ prayers and counting!

Built on a Platform of Prayers
Fryderyk Ovcaric, a Stanford graduate built the app to what it is today, saying that Instapray is:

a safe place that connects people around the world through prayers."

For many people, this app serves as a lifeline, allowing users to interact with others by posting their prayer request, or inspirational photos that can inspire another. Within minutes of posting, expect encouragement from people all over the globe.

User interface is pretty and it is easy to navigate the site.

Prayers in the Age of Technology

When Instapray founder Fryderyk presented the app at the Values Voter Summit in 2014, he cited the movie "Bruce Almighty" as a source of inspiration in the making of this app. The moment Bruce heard all the prayers from humanity and gets overwhelmed, you'll realize that you can definitely relate with him. Seeing all the prayers are humbling and it makes me wonder how God hears our own supplications all at the same time.

Walk the Talk

It's easy to see why Instapray has grown tremendously in the last 2 years. It caters to Christians who know the value of interceding for other believers in need. While the app is not a substitute for Sunday church worship, bible groups or small groups, it's still an exceptional tool for people who puts a premium on prayers.

Sifting through the many prayer requests, I can see how similar our needs are and it made me realize that this makes us more connected and less isolated. It humbles you and makes you grateful for what you have, compared to the many who are lacking and in dire straits.

Download the app today, you won't regret it. See how this can help you remain steadfast in your faith and provides you with discipline in praying for yourself and for others, as well.
